Boise State Football played very well this year and will be heading off to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl where they will meet East Carolina University. The Boise State football bowl game will take place on December 23, 2007.

But that is not the biggest news circulating the Boise State football organization. Head Coach, Chris Peterson has been named as the top contender for the soon to be open head coach position at UCLA. UCLA has not fired their head coach, Karl Dorrell yet but the Boise State football organization has already set their sights on a list of possible candidates. Apart from Chris Peterson, UCLA has been said to be considering Mick Leach from Texas Tech and Steve Mariucci who most recently coached the Detroit Lions.

Chris Peterson, current coach of Boise State football, managed to turn their team around   in two years to make them one of the better football schools in the country. It is no wonder why UCLA wants him. Boise State football this season ended with a 10-2 record this season.
