Tony Romo Tony romo

Former undrafted, unknown Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys quarterback with a 6 year, $67.5 million NFL contract and he can't afford to buy a new undershirt? "

This one is on its last legs, definitely," as Romo eyed the shirt that had come apart above his left shoulder. "Hopefully, it will last the rest of the year." Maybe he just doesn't have time to shop? The internet works pretty good, Tony.  Give it a try!

All kidding aside about his lucky undershirt, Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo has put together 2 outstanding performances since that quote.  The latest one was against The NFC rival New York Giants with the Cowboys 31-20 win on Sunday.  Romo had a 20-for-28, 247 yard effort accented by 4 touchdowns with 1 interception.  The week before he made good on 20 of 25 throws for 324 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 pickoff in a 38-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. This was the 1st game after his juicy NFL contract deal. Tony Romo's strong point seems to be his ability to make adjustments during the football game. In Sunday's NFL game against the Giants his adjusting enabled him to exploit the Giants' different blitz packages. Quick thinking on his feet! Let's see what happens in the next few weeks.  I don't think Tony Romo has changed his undershirt yet!
