Larry Johnson
Priest Holmes
Larry Johnson, running back for the Kansas City Chiefs won't be playing this week against the Indiannapolis Colts. Johnson's ankle was injured 2 weeks ago while he was tackled from behind by Green Bay Packers A.J. Hawk. The swelling has subsided but the NFL player is scheduled to meet a foot specialist on Monday. The Kansas City Chiefs are officially calling it a mid-foot sprain despite a report of a broken foot last week.
In the previous 2 seasons Larry Johnson has rushed for more than 1,700 yards and was starting to come around prior to his injury by going over 100 yards 3 times in 5 games.
Priest Holmes is substituting for him after missing 2 years due to a spinal injury. Holmes, a 3 time Pro Bowler looked good in his first full game last week, rushing 65 yards on 20 carries despite a 27-11 loss to the Denver Broncos.
