Time was out and the Baltimore Ravens thought they had won Sunday's NFL football game against the Cleveland Browns at M&T Stadium. The Ravens were celebrating an emotional come-from-behind football win. Unfortunately 20 minutes later the tables were reversed and they were stunned to find that they had lost the game.  What gives?

This had to be one of the craziest endings in NFL history The officials reversed their decision on a missed field goal in a 33-30 overtime loss. The Ravens were ahead 30-27 and Phil Dawson of the Browns attempted a 51 yard field goal as the fourth quarter was ending. The football bounced off the left upright and dropped onto the curved part of the supporting post, about 4 feet beyond the crossbar of the goal post, and landed in the end zone. One of the NFL refs, located under the goal post, declared the kick was no good.  The Baltimore Ravens had won. No!

About half the Baltimore Ravens were in the locker room undressing when everything changed. After the referees discussed the missed field goal decision for 4 minutes and 57 seconds.  Referee Pete Morelli announced that the football HAD passed through the uprights and was therefore good.  The football game was then tied 30-30 and the players were called back on the field.  The Browns won the toss in overtime and won the game in the first drive, when Dawson kicked an uncontroversial 33 yard field goal .

This was the Baltimore Ravens fourth straight loss tying the NFL team's longest losing streak. Referree Morelli explains the controversial decision in the game.
