So what can fans of Notre Dame football expect in the up coming season? Another dismal season I hope! I am not a fan of Notre Dame football as I feel they get a free ride in many instances. For example Notre Dame football is allowed to remain an independent and not join a conference. Yet they are allotted a bowl game bid from the Big East Conference if the Notre Dame football team manages to win more than six games during the regular college football season. Why are they so special they can get away with this? Another thing about Notre Dame football teams many college sports fans do not know is the players are well known among the teams they play as being probable the biggest "trash" talkers in college football. You would think playing for a Catholic college they would be better coached than this but apparently not. Cheap shots and trash talk is what Notre Dame football is all about. The "Gipper" would be ashamed at the sad state of affairs the Notre Dame football program has become in recent years. And he should!
