Did you watch the superbowl? What a game! And, all of this without any wild card twist. The fascinating thing about getting an NFL football ticket to the superbowl is that there's always the element of surprise: anything can and sometimes does happen. After all the Patriot hype (and the Vegas book-makers got sold down the road on that game as well--they seemed to discount the fact that anything could happen) and the huge build up to how powerful and un-defeatable the Patriots were, it was rather refreshing to watch those lucky fans in the stands, the ones lucky enough to have aactually been there in person with their NFL football ticket in hand, it was refreshing to watch the looks of disbelief on the faces of the Patriot fans, and the looks of wonder on the faces of the Giants fans. But, the bottom line was that if you were lucky enough to have had and NFL football ticket to that game, you were part of history. And, if you love the under-dog, as many Americans do, that game was what rooting for the under-dog was all about.
