The rumors are a floating aplenty in NFL Football Ticket News today. The NFL commissioners and the team owners met to talk about labor disputes that could arise if the 2011 seasons goes uncapped, which it is looking like it would. NFL Football Ticket News learned that both the team owners and the commission are considering eliminating a preseason game and adding a 17th regular season game to the schedule. This would effectively increase player’s salaries and generate tons more money in NFL revenue. NFL Football Ticket News was able to find this quote from the commissioner, Goodell, “We are not satisfied with the quality of the preseason right now. We'd like to improve on that. It would create new revenue.” The only problem with another added season game is that it makes it an odd number, leaving some teams with less at home games during the season and a disadvantage to their odds. NFL Football Ticket News would be more impressed if the preseason was only 2 games, and was followed by an 18 game season.
