notre dame football  As if Notre Dame football did not struggle enough last season now one their backup linebackers is transferring to another school. Aaron Nagel who is 6’1 and 225 pounds made the Notre Dame football team during his freshman year but never saw playing time. He did not expect to play in his sophomore season as well since he was in the number 4 squad on the team’s depth chart. Nagel and his family are die hard Notre Dame football fans but the decision to transfer came completely down to playing time.

I can understand that. Training with the Notre Dame football team only makes so many dreams come true.
Every football player yearns for playing time and after a conversation with coach Weis the decision was made to transfer schools. Nagel is not sure where he is going but Northwestern, Vanderbilt and Illinois have been considered. Gaining a quality education is just as important to the Nagel family as is Aaron’s playing time.

Maurice Crum
will start in the linebacker position next season and there has been word that tight end Will Yeatman will return to Notre Dame football next season.
