This is an incredible football team, and watching them play is so rewarding, especially when they win the game. Notre Dame is playing against San Diego State on September 6, 2008, and since we plan on taking a late summer vacation, will probably try to get a ticket to the game, although it is not likely that we will be able to since there is so much demand for Notre Dame football tickets that they hold a lottery, and this is the first game of the season.

They are holding a lottery for alumni to get tickets. It costs $50 to enter the lottery, and the lucky winners get a chance to buy up to six tickets each. Part of the proceeds are going to renovate their stadium, which, according to their web site, is in sorry need of repairs. The $50 is non refundable, but it is going for a good cause.
